Prohibited uses and terms

The number must not be used for anything illegal or to deceive the public, including:

  • Fraud, scams or call-center-gang activity — tricking people into transfers, fake investments or loans, or phishing for personal data
  • Impersonating government officers, police, banks, couriers, telecom operators or any other person or organisation
  • Displaying a caller ID that is not your own (caller-ID spoofing)
  • Online gambling, money laundering, opening or trading mule accounts, or selling illegal goods or services
  • Threats, harassment, unlawful debt collection under the Debt Collection Act, or spreading false information
  • Sales calls to people who have not consented, or using personal data in breach of the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA)
  • Sub-letting, transferring or letting others use the number without written permission

Terms

  1. The applicant must own the business or be authorised to act for it, and use the number only for the business and purpose stated.
  2. Gramick House may refuse a request, ask for more documents, or suspend a number immediately on any breach or reasonable suspicion of one, without notice or refund.
  3. Call records are kept, and Gramick House cooperates with and provides data to the authorities as required by law, including for the prevention of technology crime.
  4. The applicant is responsible for all use of the number and for what the AI says on behalf of their business.
